Astralis made it four tournament wins in a row by dominating BLAST: Pro Series in Lisbon.
After going undefeated in the early stages, Astralis faced familiar foes NaVi in the grand final.
NaVi drew first blood by picking up a confident map win on Overpass. Astralis recovered to win Cache and Dust II convincingly to round out a 2-1 victory.
Astralis rifler Emil “Magisk” Hoffman was voted tournament MVP. The 20-year-old Dane played a pivotal role in the group stage, picking up 20+ kills on all five group matches.
After the tournament, Magisk posted on Instagram:
My first MVP aswell. Pretty proud of this one not gonna Lie! But most important is the Team. And this Team is such an honor to play with. I cant wait to get 2019 started.
The BLAST: Pro Series final marked the start of the Christmas player break. Astralis will return to competitive action at iBUYPOWER Masters IV on the 19-20th January.
